April came, and we flew.

Germany didn't want us to leave. We had to wait nearly two hours on the
field, due to heavy winds in Schiphol. SWMBO was getting really agitated
:) In the end, the did leave, and flew without further problems to
Dulles Airport.

My friend picked us up, and we drove 4hours to the GMC.

Hooray, finally.

Generator doesn't start. Need to batteries. Went to Walmart and got one.
With a new battery, generator starts right away. Needing to use the
toilet, we find out that a lot of water is leaking :( - first things
first, we are tired and go to sleep. Temps in Farmville were near
freezing at night, but thanks to some sleeping bags no problem there for
me. SWMBO was cold though...

Next morning, first order of business, get the water leak fixed. First
fill up with fresh water. Takes a while to fill the 40 gallons. Back
home, we check were the leak is. Comes from under the bathroom sink.
Luckily, one can remove the doors from under the sink and have fairly
easy access to everything there. Turns out, the T-piece delivering cold
water to water heater, the bathroom faucet and the kitchen faucet is
broken. Yeah for not winterizing, due to the GMC being at the shop from
August till December... :(

Lowe didn't have the right T-piece so we took a couple of different
fittings. Also the line from the T-piece to the water heater was broken.
Replaced as well. And the line under the kitchen sink burst. Cut it, and
added a connector and some new line.

On the Lowe parking lot, an older gentleman approached the coach. He
owned a total of three GMCs, and still has one from '73 (iirc). Stupid
me did not ask him, where he let them serviced around here.

After a full day at Lowe's with SWMBO sleeping in the back nearly the
whole time, water leaks are reduced to a dripple and we can live with
that for now. Will need to order the right T-piece online.

Today, we will drive from Farmville to Virginia Beach.
