I am changing satellite systems to make it easier to move the satellite finder and receiver back and forth between our two coaches. As a result, the custom GMC motorhome mount, Winegard Carryout auto satellite finder for Dish, DirecTV, Bell, Rodgers, etc., IR remote control, Dish VIP211K receiver and cables are for sale for $400. If you already subscribe to one of the North American satellite TV providers this will allow you to watch the same programming while on the road. All you will need is to change the dip switches in the automatic satellite finder and provide your own receiver matching your provider. If that is Dish, then the included receiver will work just fine. With Dish you can turn on the system when you travel and turn it off when you are at home so you only pay for the time used. I think the other US and Canadian providers have a similar offering but check with them for details and costs.

The slick part of this system is that the Carryout auto satellite finder is mounted on a pole (rather than on the roof) so you can raise or lower it with just a twist of two thumb knobs. It comes down low enough that you can stand on the ground to remove the Carryout and place it up to 50 feet away to get it out from under trees and such. You only need to provide a 12vdc and RG6 cable through connector to provide power to the Carryout and to bring the satellite broadcasts into the receiver mounted in your coach. From the receiver to the TV you can use a variety of connectors from HDMI to sRGB to composite video depending on what your TV requires. Use HDMI if you can as that is the simplest and best quality image and sound.
It is a great system and very easy to use. We have used it from coast to coast and a ways into Canada and Mexico with our DirecTV and Dish services because this Carryout unit sees western arc, eastern arc and Canadian satellites. Buyer can pick it up in Kerby, OR, or I can package it for shipment with the buyer paying the actual shipping cost. Let me know.
