Hi Steve,
My thinking was this new board should function correctly for quite some time, especially with no push on connectors to corrode and build up resistance. If I ever did need to jumper (hope not) I would just remove enough of the insulation on the two wires to allow an alligator clamp to fit.

Happy to hear the good report on the board and and electronic ignition. I too have been considering a new board and have not been able to decide on
the soldered pig tail wire version or the old push on pin style. I like how clean and simple the pig tail version would fit under the cover and route
the wires. I'm just not sure how you would troubleshoot and install jumper wires from pin to pin. Maybe the idea is that with a new board you would
not need to troubleshoot.
Do others have additional thoughts on one type of board vs the other?
I think I am leaning toward the soldered connections and pig tail wires like Jerry.
