I've just replaced the air filter on my 6k Onan. I've never replaced the filter before but the manual shows it's just a simple wing-nut to take off the old cartridge and replace it.
If you're Gumby!
Chrimanetly I nearly had to make love to that thing to get the filter and wing-nut back in place. I must be doing something wrong - the filter is in the back left-hand corner of the beast, but the drawer doesn't pull out far enough to do anything but look at it. My left hand was squeezed up on top waiting with the wing-nut for the rod to appear. My left arm was wrapped around and under the thing trying to massage, with fingertips, that rod to get it in the hole. I'm telling you it was nearly a sexual experience!
And the relief once I got the nuts twisted on was nearly as good!
Sorry about that.
As I said I must be doing something wrong. A simple air filter change can't require me to violate my wedding vows.
