Ldeer hunting time is near. Ad even though i will be living in luxury in my gmc that week. My group tends to be a little overboard in their quest for a five star hunting experience.

We built out a luxury bunk house in a pole barn. Off grid, only powered by 12 volts and a 7000 watt honda generator.

We dont like to run the generator all the time.

My question is with hot water, Those who have gone the on demand route, how often does the batteries need to be changed?

What is latest and best model? And any other advice is welcome.

Space is limited, we have a tall ceilings. And the plumbing , water supply and heater will be hung about 7 feet over head. We have about 4 feet above that where it will be mounted. We do not want to go with a normal rv water heater. Due to how we want to vent it, dont want to cut a 2x2 hole in wall.
