Hi all, I bought this 1973 455 and trans from the vintage wrecking yard on
Hwy 14 just north of Ridgecrest. We pulled it out of a 73 Toronado that had
been totaled due to a rear end collision. Car had 70,000 miles on it. It's
been sitting since I got it in 2005. Thought I would do a rebuild on it and
keep it as a spare. Turns out my engine (115,000 miles) is still fine and
with the miles we do every year it should be good for a long time.
The motor turned over fine on the starter when I got it but I doubt if it
would roll over now. Trans and FD still bolted up. Original Olds rocker
covers. I also have an awesome Quadrajet and an almost new Dick Paterson
Pertronics distributor to throw in. Both of those came off my 73 Glacier
when I installed EFI.
Engine, trans, carb and distributor all for $800.00 or best offer. Located

The reason I am selling this stuff is to buy a Supercharger kit for the Ford
4.0 SOHC engine installed in my soon to ready 35 Dodge pickup.
