Well it's time for a short rapport from us in Europe
After we got the new convertor Olga is doing fine, going up the steepest hills in seccond doing 40M/h with little more then 2000 rpms
After spending some days around Biarritz we went for Spain, some of these roads around the Picas de Europa are real narrow and steep, and they are a lot of work, but Olga does fine
She also keeps speed quite well on the engine break and when nessecary the 6 discs stop her perfectly
Now in Portugal where we hope to stay some months and trying to make contact to the gmc that is supposed to be here.
We do ofcourse have small problems: the new aircompresser lost both inlet and outlet checkvalves ? The macerator stopped becourse of a olivepit ! remember not to swallow those when you have a macerator It is a dirty job !
Talking about macerator, i am so happy I installed it, 5t would have been quite impossible to empty the black tank without it. All campers in Europe seem to have a tank for greywater and a removeable container for the toilet These are then emptied somwhere of the ground and somtimes behind some building. Only twice could I empty right on the ground.
I will have to go over the steering as it is a bit loose, It might be the cv joint as there was no boot on it when I got here
Also still not idling well, it seems I have the dreaded nozzle drip, coursed by the low vacuum at idle. But still not sure what courses the low vacuum ? ignition or leak ? Vacuum is fine at 1000 rpm
