We would like recommendations for replacement shaft rocker arm assemblies for our Cadillac
500 engine.

Ideally, the replacement shaft rocker system would:

1: Use off the shelf or easily obtainable pushrods (Cadillac or others)
2: Use off the shelf or easily obtainable rocker arms
3: Be a bolt in replacement
4: and clear the original Cad 500 valve covers.

We realize all these conditions may not be met in any one set.

Please tell us what systems you have used on your Cad 500 engine and why, or any sets that you think are good replacement systems.

After having seen that a couple of forum members have broken a Cad 500 rocker arm stand on
the road, popped a lifter and lost oil pressure with very inconvenient results; we would like to make the rocker arm change now.

All suggestions greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Don and Susan Jeffers
