In the process of trying to figure out why my coach loses fuel flow to the engine pump, I've found out the following:
The body isolators are long strips - none crushed, lines are fine.
All the new lines have unions where the lines head up over the tanks - no idea whether the invisible ones are new or no.
The liquid separator is good.
The vapor canister and additional can (California addition? It was a CA coach originally) seem to be OK.
The carb filter is clean.
I'm in the process of dropping the tanks, starting in back. I'll replace the lines on them, and check the pickups. One gauge (aux) is inoperative, I'll make sure the sender works, or repair it. I have a little fuel pump I used on my VWs, round green thing. Identical to the gasoline model, save 'diesel ok' on the tag and five bux more than gas to purchase. I propose to install it 'Bounds Style' in lieu of the tank selector, and power it with the selector switch. It has a check valve, I'll add one to the main tank line. When I get it all back together, George Z gets his ramps back.... they're a convenience.
The guy who towed it dinged the blackwater pipe, and reopened a crack in the tank I'd repaired, so Saturday was tank fix day. Marine epoxy and some 2 ounce cloth, and I think it's water tight now. All this gets tested in a couple weeks, short trip to a show venue out by the airport.
