While packing my GMC up for the night, I stuck my head into the engine compartment to take a quick look around before closing it up. What I saw really surprised me...and not in a good way!
I had had issues with gas odor before, but always looked for it from below and never found anything. Tonight as I looked around, I saw this:
Sorry about the quality of the picture, I was reaching in with my cell phone. I will have a better picture tomorrow. I believe that is the vapor canister, and if you look closely enough you will see a large ragged hole in the top! I am pretty sure that the hole is NOT supposed to be there.
If it isn't the vapor canister, can someone tell me what it is? I will get closer tomorrow.
