I spent the previous day checking out the fuel supply lines. I started by blowing some air into the fuel line that I had removed at the engine fuel pump. First problem I found was a crack in the rubber hose where it attached to the metal fuel line..repaired that and then started back..couldn't hear any other leaks so I tried pumping gas into the line at the engine back towards the tanks...no leaks...I then reversed the pump and tried pumping fuel, I did get some dirty gunky fuel but not a steady stream. And when I also tried switching tanks, no change. So I moved back to the tank selector valve and found that 2 wires were cut or chewed off where they attached to the connector at the selector valve. I repaired those and then when I switched tanks at the dash the gauge went from reading full to maybe what was actually in the tanks. A quarter tank or less in each. I had added about 6 gallons of fuel with seafoam in it whenever I originally tried to get the engine to start. I ended up having to hook up a 5 gallon tank to the engine fuel pump and drive it home that way...anyways I don't think the 12 volt fuel pump is strong enough to pull fuel from the tanks up through the lines. So I will first be draining both tanks and then after flushing will get some fresh gas in the main tank and see what happens. I also don't get fuel to the generator so hopefully that will correct itself once I get over a half tank of gas in the main tank and that it's not because there is a break in that fuel line...So once I get fuel to the carb she will run again...lol..next project will be bleeding and inspecting the brakes..geez...Glenn
