I found out the english translation for "dometic"

"Complete Shit"

My hardly used 4 year old dometic refrigerator died. I guess that makes the decision to swap in my once used norcold 641.3 to replace it for as long as it will last.
Gas? Check.
12V? Check.
110V? Check.

I really wish people in this country were willing to pay what it takes to get quality products that last, and so China would go f*ck itself, and I could get stuff that works and lasts. I am willing to pay more for quality. I have an expensive german vacuum cleaner, for example, a Sebo, going on 10 yrs with no problems.

Yeah that fridge was built here, but the control board is more than likely populated with chinese parts. Either way, cheap chinese parts or shitty american workmanship did it in, just like the Lennox heat pump on my house that failed under warranty, due to a bad solder joint that *I* found, but had to pay for labor to replace the "warranty" part that I could not keep.

I hate the fact I cannot get good stuff because they have to make it cheap enough for people who cannot afford it to be able to afford it... with financing.. so I can share the forest with them and where they run their f*cking cheap ass "Champion" generator at 9PM so they can heat up TV dinners and run the TV for the kids who make too much damn noise during the day.

Sorry to piss anyone off here. I am 100% american and totally disgusted with what this country has become and what we build. Too Bad japan doesn't build RV's and RV products. If they did. ours *might* be better because they have to.

We pay too much Goddamn money for land, which we have nearly endless supply of, and it leaves nothing for good products to use on said land.

Sorry, But the stuff I build is quality, lasts, and yeah, costs more. My lazy competitors build shit.

/rant off.
