My grill and one headlight door took some damage.
Nothing I could find for common adhesives did any good and I tried a lot of them.

But, when I was reworking the dump pipe, I decide to keep it all ABS. I had already had trouble with the universal PCV/ABS/CPVC stuff, so I went and drove to get some real ABS pipe cement (Oatey 3889L). It did what I needed.

So, I got that can out again to try (yet again) to fix the grill and the headlight door. That was a good idea. The cement is already black and it glues grill like it was intended to all along.
The missing pieces of both were cut from left over pipe and sculptured to fit. Now all I have to do is find paint that will stick to the areas I had to sand smooth. Nobody in striking range has Krylon Fusion.....
