> Thank You to all of you for your prayers and concern. Bob’s latest CT scan shows that the 6 double barreled chemo treatments he had did nothing to stop the cancer. In fact it has spread to all the surrounding area. Fluid in his lungs, we think is what is causing his speech to be raspy and breathless. He can still walk to the bathroom but needs help getting out of bed and walking. Lately he has been in the hospital for a week and now yesterday I took him to United Living Center in Brookings (20 min. from us) for Hospice care. He requests No visitors. It was a long day and when he got into his bed he had a long nap. He eats very little and naps a lot. Before going to the hospital this last time, Bob organized an Auction (May 10) to sell everything in his shop, including the GMC and the Chev. Tracker. Bob Miller is coming today to help with the GMC parts etc. listing. And then 2 days before the Auction a few more friends will come to help with the Auction. So it is kind of busy around here! Hope you will pass the word along to others.
