A quick way to isolate most any accessory in our GMC from noise and vibration is to mount the item - the converter/battery charger in this case - to a piece of that foam anti-fatigue mat that we were discussing WRT radiator baffles with cable ties. Then screw the the mat material to the mounting surface using screws and fender washers placed outside of the item. Using this method there is no direct pathway for the vibrations to reach the mounting surface which will greatly attenuate the noise and vibration coming from the item. In the Clasco the converter/charger is mounted inside a vented cabinet behind the power panel which itself is covered by a cupboard door. Without the anti-fatigue mat the fan was clearly noticeable as the shelf on which it was mounted acted like a sounding board. Once the anti-fatigue mat was in place I can no longer hear the fan on the converter/charger at all. Slick, easy, fast and cheap.

My experience with noise is when I have lot of accessories running in the coach, then the fan comes on to cool the unit.
Live rubber mounts and a ventilated cabinet helps lot.
