I forgot to say that in all the wiggling around to get our coach into the proper orientation in the paint area on the back wall of the RV park at the beach in Mexico, the power steering high pressure line started leaking. Yuk, where to get one in Mexico!? Well, two of the yellow shirt guys dove under, removed the leaking hose and disappeared for about four hours. When they returned out came a new looking hose with the metal portions of the line in the proper orientation. Under they went and like that the issue was solved. One of our GMCers had the correct PS fluid (thanks!) and it all worked fine with no bleeding or foaming issues.
That story was repeated by many with whom we spoke. The mechanics seem to be really good with old iron and seem to be able to source parts even in remote locations like Puerto Penasco, Sonora, MX.
