Man, I can't wait to get out of here. This has been the longest winter I can recall. We got belted with 8 inches of sleet and snow last night. Had to cancel another trip to St. Louis as we can't get out of our driveway.
We will have Spring time weather later this week and it should be here to stay.
Teri and I will pull out of here two weeks from today. Stay in Louisiana for a couple of nights then on over to the convention.
I am sitting here now looking at Applied GMC catalog. This is a good time to call them if you want to save on shipping of a heavy item and pick it up from us at the convention. They have the GMC ready to load out there. Also if you need an appraisal for insurance it might be good to call them before the convention so the ball will be rolling.
Frank Jenkins lost 100 bux to Jim K the last time the convention was in Texas. I drove in front of Jim for a thousand miles trying to make sure he stayed at or under the speed limit. We made it. Frank tried to pay me. Said Jim would not have made it without me. We will see if he rolls in there again, without me holding him back.
So, lots to do before we roll. Hope to see many friends there as we enjoy warmer, more calm weather for a while.
Dan
