Jerry the CORD's were way ahead of there time
just like the GMC's are in some ways still ahead
of today's coaches. I owned 2 1937 Cords for many years, a
'37 Berline and a '37 Beverly, although the Beverly was a Parts car.
Guess what some of today's Cord owners that drive their
cars a lot do, they put Toronado rims and radial tires which
fit right on. They look very similar to the Cord's. This switch
back when they show the car.
