Larry, Now there are 3 of us who like the original seat design with the
folding armrest linkage. They do appear wider although I've never compared
them to other options. I will admit I considered them when shopping for an
upholsterer to recover on both my GMCs, especially the Coca Cola I'm trying
to restore as close to original as I can. All estimates were either too
high ($2100 for just the dinette) or against my principles ($8 per yard
extra if you furnish own fabric) that I've decided to learn how to do it
myself, including the front seats. There's a great video by one of the
members on his DIY dinette recover project
Mike Teets <teamteets@gmail.com>
who has a web page with a material list and drawings that will help in the
process and I have a large fabric table for cutting. If I were in my 77,
I'd measure them for Tony but I'm full time in the Glacier headed to TX for
the Winter.

Tony; keep the faith and good luck regardless of your decision.
