My alternator started doing or more acurately not doing things today. Got back home by the old "run generator and jump isolator" trick.(thanks to whoever posted that ideal) Looked at the alternator the PO left me under the dinnete seat and checked the numbers, 1101046, it is supposedly a 100 amp caddy alternator. Any thoughts out there on this unit being put on a TZE. Best I can tell by readings and such; the rotor, field windings, and diode bridge and the trio diode check out fine. Any ideals, experiences, good or bad welcome. Just got to do something one way or the other.
