Hi Brian,
I agree with Ken Henderson and the others with all that has been said about what to do when preparing and driving your new purchase home. Do all the checks and replacements that have been suggested and by all means have a road service policy in place before you start. It takes some time for these policies to go into effect after purchasing. If you are picking the motorhome up this weekend you don't have a lot of time.
My GMC broke down 300 miles from home after I had driven it only 10-miles. I waited in the hot Alabama sun for hours before a flatbed semi picked us up and took us home. My cost 12-years ago was $1,000. I'm sure it would be more today. I did not have a road service policy.
Print out a hard copy of the Blacklist and welcome to the fellowship of GMC owners. The GMC is a great machine and GMC owners are a great group.
The best of luck to you this weekend.
