1973 Sequoia, pictures at http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/73-sequoia-23-footer-for-sale/p45598-w-027.html
I believe it has about 66,000 original miles. Not the second time around the odometer, from what POs lead me to believe.
Changes that have occurred since owning: OEM wheels replaced with 16" steel wheels and Michelin LTM M&S LRE tires (2011 date codes). Removed dinette behind driver's seat. Removed dead "dorm type" refrigerator. Removed cockpit seats and slant pedestals. replaced Sequoia pattern rear permanent mattress with a different pattern.
In progress: Cockpit pedestals and tan Honda Odessey seats. Jack-knife sofa behind driver's seat. Restoring Onan to its compartment.
Have OEM refrigerator, don't know if it works. Can put OEM propane tank back in propant compartment. I think the OEM regulator is gone.
Can abandon jack-knife sofa install and put dinette from CanyonLands where old dinette was orignailly. Up to buyer.
I will keep working on stuff towards making it useable, but the longer it sits in the driveway, the worse for all of us.
I am selling because the CFO has lost what little interest she had in it, so not going to use it.
What is it worth?
CanyonLands "borderline" basket case is substantially OEM, shag carpet replaced with linoleum sometime in the past. Kohler generator. Frame rusted at/behind the bogeys where it squatted for who-knows-how-long. Found gas in the oil from a bad fuel pump. The fridge compartment was rained in from a missing vent cover for who-knows-how-long before I bought it. Floor doesn't feel rotten, but haven't investigated. Had it running one time for a few minutes from a gas can. Wouldn't trust the gas/water in the fuel tanks, probably need to be drained, dropped, cleaned and re-installed with all new lines. Was going to get new frame rails, but now just need it gone from the driveway. If anyone wants to get it stopping and going well enougn to drive it home, I will help all I can. Otherwise will need to be towed or trailered.
