'Robined' or bit by the 'you can't do just one thing' bug. I swapped the parts pb for a little pickup to use as a toad. "I'll fill the fluids and get it ready for the 40 mile trip to your place. Then run the truck up here and drive it back." Bad move. Opened the hatches and enough wasps emerged to put Robin in full catatonia. Off to TSC posthaste for three cans of knockdown foam. Bashar Al-Assad has nothing on me when it comes to chemical warfare, after ten minutes I was surrounded by more dead wasps than he is dead Syrians. Checked the hoses, replaced a couple pieces of fuel line, hotted up the battery and spun her off, ticks like a happy Volkswagen. Brakes? What brakes. So, I got my trusty bleeder out, having loaded the bleed nipples with ATF Elixer for about a week. No such luck. HEat, tapping,Acetone and ATF, no matter, they still wrung off cos some $%$%$% PO left the dust covers off. So I called my man today and told he he will still be
getting the set of new wheel cylinders I showed him, only they'll be installed and he should consider picking ip up next Sunday. Along with repacked wheel bearings. I got the pax side drums off, and actually everything looks good, better than half linings and the drums are smooth. I need a gallon of brake cleaner. Grease I got. And he will be able to run it home without worrying about busting his ass on the way. I reslathered everything with Elixer, and tomorrow evening I'll get my flare nut wrench and my trusty vice-grips and get the line off and swap the cylinders. Maybeso reassemble Tuesday evening and do the drivers side Wed Thursday.
When I bought the cylinders, Nick recommended the assymetric ones. Am I correct, the little one goes on the rear, the big one on the middle?
