Swapping Rooftop AC Question [message #221555]

My coach has the original rooftop AC that really doesn't work. My parts coach has a much newer AC that works well. I want to swap them out.

I have all the bolts and screws out from inside and am now ready to remove AC from the roof. Any tricks to getting it free from the adhesive?

When I put the new AC on, can i just use thick butyl tape as the new gasket or do I need something better?
