For the past year or so I have had a water leak in the front headliner above the drivers seat and when driving over the sunvisor. I thought it was my spotlight and sealed it up as per advise from this forum,
Re-sealed all the front seams that I could find but no luck.
Finally got the hose out again and started spraying. When spraying directly on the clearance lights, the headliner would start dripping water.
Previously I had checked the adhesion of the lights and appeared to be secure with no voids. After spraying, I pulled the covers and there was a little water inside the housing but not much. They were also slightly rusty so moisture had been in there for a while.
Water must be getting under the clearance light through the foam backer but the foam appears to be glued securely. Tried lifting the foam but would only tear. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Ross
