Maybe this has already been discussed on this forum, but a search revealed no such discussion. Following is a copy of a letter sent to a friend who owns a Bluebird and was left by the side of road without coverage. He says he was never billed separately for Coachnet and, as the letter states, FMCA elected not to tell their members about the change. Others on that forum are equally uninsured for road coverage.

Coach Net cancelled their contract with FMCA as of May 31st. FMCA did not notify our Membership since it is not a Membership Benefit that is included in the FMCA Membership renewal. It was our understanding that Coach Net would bill Members of the road service program since retaining Membership in their program is their goal. Since we have no affiliation with them at this time, I cannot answer why you did not receive a bill from them.

We are in the process of searching for another Road Service Company and hope to have them in place within the next couple of months.

If you have any other questions, or need further information, please let me know.

Sincerely,

I do not have Coachnet and am a member of FMCA because most GMC clubs require FMCA membership to participate in rallies. I continue to have a gnawing feeling of being held hostage. I can really think of no benefit they provide other than the "insurance" at rallies.
