so this is the first multinight camping trip since I bought it in 2008 due to being layed off, rebuilding engines, front ends etc

against all advice of everyone I rebuilt the engine at home with the help of a friend who is an extremely good builder( he did most of the work except for the machining.

The engine runs well, getting somewhere north of 9 mpg even with a very hilly highway 2 to traverse. our second fill calculates at 13 mpg, but I'm certain I under filled the tank. tomorrow morning will give a better average.

I checked the oil this morning and was down 1/2 a quart. It's hard to read the level the oil is so clear. I'm happy it's doing great for a new engine
Watching the Revs on my new dash mounted tach I get 2500 rpm at 60, pretty cool, looks like I have a 3.42 Final

the Mac bridge was fun, feeling the girl do the hula on the grates ( right lane closed for construction)

Were in Dearborn, just out of the Ford museum, pretty cool place, highly recommended.

Now, can someone stop the rain?
sheesh
