Thanks guys for all the info an helps on these pages
As I wrote yesterday I m cleaning up electrics, took out a flimsy relais that acted as a combiner and put in this intellegent combiner (no isolator) so I could trow out the wire that actuated the relais on ignition
I changed the wiring to the starter as suggested and now i feel my starter could start a f16 insted of the hessitating starter I had before
I also changed the wiring between the solenoid and the combiner as they were thredbare

Just wondering, on idle the altenator gives 14.7 is that not a bit high?
