Has anyone researched the Vintage Air complete kit units that have all the
components including the ductwork and dash mounted control unit? With
ductwork included there about $1,300 but I spent close to that on my Subaru
Outback with a new radial compressor/evaporator and clogged condenser
before they got it right. I will definitely go that route on the '69 Vette
since the PO tore out the old unit including ductwork and I have everything
apart for the frame off restoration.

Although I never gave Vintage Air a call, what I came up with on their web
site is a GMC truck conversion kit but obviously not the same. Seems like
some of the dash components may be similar and, if necessary, some of the
old ductwork could be reused with modifications. The advantage is all new
components for the ones that tend to clog/fail when you need them most.
