According to page 78 of the owner's manual for our 77 Kingsley there are 17 chassis lubrication/grease fittings including what's on the steering assembly.
If anyone's count is different or there's something that's not on that diagram that we should grease we'd appreciate your input. We're just talking about fittings that have zerks on them.
I guess as a side note, is there a trick or way to tell when we've put enough in. On other vehicles we've stopped when we feel a bit or resistance. On these fittings, which don't seem to take a lot of grease, a couple pumps is all we did so far. We realize we don't want to rupture any seals.
We greased the rear suspension and will revisit all the info on the forum as to the problems back there in getting grease further into the suspension. What kind of volume are we talking about in the rear suspension.
No need to talk about what type of grease as we've already been there.
