Anybody try the pro6ten compressor? As I understand it,
both the S6 and pro6ten are modified so they will fit the
standard GM A6 compressor mounts and hoses. The S6 is really a
Nippondenso, and the pro6ten is really a 508 Sanden. Both are much
lighter and (supposedly) more efficient than the A6. I'm told the
pro6ten model 21-2201SH should fit our application. I don't know
if that includes the clutch though. Maybe somebody more knowledgeable
can look at it and comment.
