We holed up for a couple of days at Steve and Nancy Ferguson's - thanks guys!- although Steve was off galavanting around on a bachelor motor cycle ride. I replaced the obviously failed fan clutch, removed the electric fans the PO had installed in front of the air conditioner evaporator and added some air wings to direct more air through the radiator. That seems to have done the trick as it no longer appears to be running hot. We will know for sure as we cross the desert this afternoon where it will be triple digits out.

Everything continues to be great with the coach and no vapor lock at all. We did discover one anomaly, however. Beneath the floor in the wet bath there appears to be a recess area that had filled up with water and made the carpet wet in front of the door. I used a squeeze bulb to evacuate the water and will watch to see how long it takes to refill. I am surmising that the recess is there to make room for the shower drain trap and something there is leaking. It could be that no one has showered there for years so a seal shrank or something similar. Do any of you know how I can get in there to fix whatever is leaking? I sure would not like to think in terms of dropping the black tank to get to it! All suggestions welcome.
