Correction. In my last post trying to determine why we are having no vapor lock issue I mistakenly said we were only at low altitudes. That is wrong. This morning in New Mexico on the 10 we passed over the Continental Divide and the sign said we were at 4500 feet. That is higher than the highest point on the I5, the major N/S highway on the west coast. Coming into Benson AZ a short time ago we had a long steep climb on a very hot day, stiLl with no issue. I am more and more thinking it must be either the large forward mounted fuel filter/water separator or the ethanol treatments added to each fill up. Could also be the quality brand name gas but we cannot be the only ones in the fleet doing that.
