I've a problem with my toad - I can;'t find an 11.5 MM belt for the alternator.� It's short, runs from the A/C compressor to the alternator.� Local VW store says they can't get it.� Everyone subs a 10MM belt, which lasts less than an hour with the A/C running.... cos the car fits a 90Amp alternator and the cooling fan runs on high speed when the compressor is engaged.� A narrow belt just isn't up to the load.� Anyone have a competent source for belts?� I spent an hour in the NAPA home office/warehouse yesterday without success.
