Trip report, bobtailing at ~65mph, bout 580 miles, bout 60 gal hi test, 1 qt oil. Bearing temps 100 on steering rears 108 - 109 outside temps high 80s. No problems, brakes are great.
The Rally was great, lot of work going on, weighing coaches, ac repaired, steering issues, body pads, generators worked on, James Miller repaired my GPS where the charge cord socket was loose on the board. CV axles, boots, sway bar bushings, just stuff going on everywhere. I was a busy doing Bills new column and it came out great even after the minor hiccup about lunch time when I let the smoke out of it. The neutral safety switch listed in the parts books is the wrong one. It is wired wrong for our use and will take the start circuit to ground. More to come on this. We put the old switch on and all was well. The food was great, the shredded chicken with mustard was awsome.
