I know a lot about speed rated, road race tires. What compound of tire to run at each track. What tire pressure to run at each degree of temp change at that track. We'll do it down to a half a pound, with each tire at a different PSI to get proper traction. And generally get no more then 150 miles out of a set of 4 at best. These tires age out, crack, and can't hold the track in one year. The GMC is a totally different world for me. Tires will age out before I'll wear them out. So tread life isn't important for me. We put about 35,000 on the last set. ( ended up not using the last third of the tread ) A week or two ago, I put out an E-mail asking about tires for the GMC. The last set were too big as far as revs. per mile. And lots of road noise. Load range E seemed to come up the most. It looks like D could be a good choice too. My Royale comes in at about 11,335 lbs. With 700 lbs of tong weigh of the trailer.. 12,335 lbs. I noticed that the Dunlop tires I got. ( MADE
in the USA) Important to me. 225/75R 16 E Load. Are rated at 2680 at 80 psi Max? And I don't need the max. As I saw it, that at 60 ps,i I'd be in the range. That sound about right? Bob
