Hi all: Here's my GMC going up for sale, I need to finish a house with the money. It's Richard Delgado's old one, he sold it a few years ago to a couple out of Phoenix. I bought it last year. I'm sure it's always been mechanically very good. I made some interior changes to it, here's my ad:
This RV is in “go anywhere now” condition. It has spent most of it’s life in Southern California, detailed records go back to the 1980s. Judging from the records, it has never been in long term storage. It sleeps six in a modern version of the original configuration. Instead of a gas electrical generator, there is a battery bank a solar panel and a power converter. For our family it provided enough power to run small appliances, the furnace, lights,
etc. for at least three days of remote winter camping.
what’s new: cockpit carpet, marmoleum floor in galley, ¼ inch birch plywood walls and ceilings, galley furniture fabric, tabletops and countertops, electrical outlets, led interior lights, insulation, water heater, range, 55 watt solar panel and controller, 4 six volt golf cart batteries, full sine wave power converter, intellipower battery charger (oversized electrical cables on all this) , battery isolator, alternator, cv boots, 14 inch hdtv and dvd, co detector and
more..
what was done since 2005: aluminum alloy wheels, tires, rooftop air, freshwater tank and pump, exterior paint, front windshields, radio/cd/mp3player, engine headers, eletronic ignition, 3.21 final drive, shock absorbers, brakes, belts, lines, hoses, plugs, wires, filters and more....
what is original or old, but still in good shape: refrigerator (ac/propane norcold) bathroom, furnace, septic tank, cabinets, closet, lp tank, air suspension, drivetrain, engine, fuel tanks etc...
what is not working: dash air conditioning, cruise control
