OK, Got ambitious today and moved my coach, if you recall last June i bought my 73 CanyonLands and blew an oil line driving it home, subsequently seizing the engine. Since then, rebuilt engine, heads, Melling RV Cam, one ton, quadra, yadda yadda.
I decided to move the coach. drove it down the block, turned around at the Mineral Museum and headed back 1000 yards tops, began to back up driveway (slight incline) and ran out of gas. added gas but has no power, can only get my foot in the throttle about 25% secondaries open and engine bogs down and dies. back wheels are about 8" above fronts maybe a foot to 18 inches incline in 26 feet. Tried advancing/retarding new HEI with no avail. come to think of it i'm still running stock gap on plugs. all input will be appreciated. shift into R has positive engagement, trans is not slipping. (stock FD)
