While driving home today from a gathering with some old friends I spotted what appears to be a 23' sitting back 100 yards off the road. I would have tried to get the VIN, but this was so far out in the country common sense prevailed. Looks like a parts coach, as I think its missing some glass. I know who owns the property (not personally, just by reputation).
I don't really need a parts coach, especially one that's been open to the weather. But I would consider it, if it meant saving it from salvage. I don't know if the landowner has a GMC or not, or maybe used to. Where this is parked there are several machines sitting, no residence, just a field in the country.
Is it worth trying to get a hold of the property owner? Am I insane for even considering such a thing? Is this more trouble than it would be worth?
