Gentleman
If your life lacks excitement, might I suggest a drive up the 321 to Boone,
NC.
A construction zone that would really appeals to the bungee jumping
crowd, add darkness and you have the makings of really good time. The 321
will take you on the outside of the road where no shoulder exists, no guard
rail exists, barrels are spaced about 5000 feet apart and peering over the
side,
recently re-sculpted by heavy rains, revels only a bottomless pit into an
unknown Hell somewhere below...
Now that I have your attention if you think you might be interested, I'm
suggestion you only need one gear in your GMC...and that would be Low.
This morning displayed the other side of the mountain....it's the old
saying, what goes up must come down....the 421 leading out of Boone ! I've
never had all six brakes smoking at the same time <VBG> I hope the
synthetic grease held up...when I checked temps on the last drums it was
running over 350 degrees.
Currently at the Flying J.....tomorrow is another day on the return to NS !
