As most of you already know, I was the recipient of Tom Phipps' generosity, doing our door window with the T slider. I believe these to be the first "new" windows for our coaches. There are newer styles available. I just personally like this style and have spent 4 years collecting these windows here and there as I could afford. Teri and I needed someone to help us get started and Tom did just that. Now, many have shared their experiences with me, particularly Blaine and Diane Merrel, but I could not grasp what they were telling me. I bet if one buys the entire set you get instructions with them. However, my thinking is that Teri and I might do a photo shot when we install our next window, or 2 or 3, so others can see exactly how to do this. I am not a Rocket Scientist so I need to "see" stuff. This is no rip out and slap in deal, as those who have done it know. We had wrong length screws at Dothan so today my granddaughter and I picked up the 1/2" ones that we needed and replaced the ones we stuck in at Dothan. Anyway, I never got a finished photo posted at Dothan because we did not get completely finished. This window has to be "pulled in" a certain way. We hope to do this soon. Going to conventions has a way to motivate me.
There were many others who lended us a helping hand and we appreciated every one who did, and those who watched.
Dan
