Those who can attend the post-Convention dry-camping rally, here are the
directions there from Dothan. You may want to print them and bring them
along just in case you lose the convoy:

Remember, this is a wide-open, unplanned event. I checked yesterday. The
grass is pretty well cut to accomodate probably 100+ coaches in shady
grassed or pine needle-covered spots. The catfish pond and the bream/bass
pond are both in great shape. The weather SHOULD be great so that being
without A/C shouldn't be a problem.
There are 3 full hookup sites around the barn, and more 115 vac/15A
available from receptacles inside. There is a dump station, but the septic
tank is the smallest the county would allow my uncle to install for the
single little-used toilet in the barn -- bigger than he wanted, but I don't
know how big that is. So, plan to come with holding tanks empty and to
leave with them full.
There are restaurants in Americus (12 miles), Plains (9 miles), and Preston
(12 miles). There's a grocery in Ellaville (7 miles), but I think the last
restaurant closed. We can have pot lucks, cookouts, or whatever, either at
the barn, at the smokehouse, or even in the cabin. If the fish are biting,
we might even persuade Roger to cook fish -- IF someone will clean them! :-)
It's just planned to be a leisure time with lots of relaxation and good
comradeship. Don't count on any "hosting" from me, and certainly not from
HER -- she'll be bushed by the time SHE gets home.
