From reading data on speed vs mass, etc. the main thing to keep in mind is that what you're pulling has less to do with gas mileage than what you're trying to push out of the way with the vehicle being driven. The faster you go the more air you're trying to shove out of the way. That creates resistance. That resistance requires more energy to overcome.
I'm putting together a brief presentation on the subject based on solid information (data). I may have it done in time so apply for a spot at Dothan. When I'm done, Gene will be able to see it on a site enjoys visiting where most information is allowed to have a life in the wild.
