The blurb on one of those cordless sets (under $200) said the 4AA cells
in each light were good for 2 hours. That's 8 AA cells every 2 hrs of
use. Pretty spendy, even buying batteries at Costco. You'd probably get
a whole day of travel, if you didn't have the lights on.
The one pc. bar types have an internal 12V battery with a car charger,
and they claim about a day of use, so you could recharge while you're
parked. I think I'll keep looking for a coiled cord harness. It only
takes about 15 seconds longer to connect it to the toad than it does to
connect the wireless transmitter to the coach.
