Subject: Re: [GMCnet] Dino Oil Break Down Temperature

Keep in mind the stock crank shaft seal is only rated to 250 degrees much higher and you will end up with a leaky seal. Which is why
I used a higher temperature rated seal and an external oil cooler in series with the cooler in the Aluminum radiator.

There is a high temp seal available:

Manufacturer: Chicago Rawhide / SKF
Part Number: 19923

I bought two from:

Kaman Direct
Website: http://www.KamanDirect.com
Tel: 888-235-3550

Cost: $15.89 each

DOWNSIDE: They charged me $30.00 S&H to ship it from one side of Houston to the other!

Regards,
Rob M.
