One of my fellow members of the Air Force Radar Sites Veterans
posted the following about the subject museum.

In addition to being a USAF Radar Site veteran, at one time my
other "car" was a B-52. This is a GREAT museum!

"Got back from Omaha late Monday night. Visited the Air & Space
Museum last Saturday. If you get the chance you have to see it.
It is unbelievable. I don't know how big that monstrous building
is, but all the aircraft are displayed inside.

To give you an idea I can remember these on display all on one floor:
Grumman Goose, B-45, B-17, 2 B-25's, B-47, B-58, SR71, B-52H, B-36,
F-86, a couple of others I can't recall. In addition there were many
model displays and also the B-52 Nav and EWO trainers and a couple of
vehicles. These were all in one room and adjacent was another area
you couldn't get into but had floor to ceiling windows so you could
see the others they were working on like a Mig-21, and 2 (I think) C-54s.

There were also flight simulators, that for $5.00 you could play pilot.

Another area was dedicated to robots that the kids were having a load
of fun playing with. Of course a gift shop and a snack bar appropiately
called the "Pilot's Lunch".

If your in the area it's a mast see. It is located about 23 miles west
of Omaha on I-80."
