After several months of thinking, looking, lusting, and driving, we finally own a drivable coach. Many thanks to Ken Henderson who found it while driving by a RV dealer in Nashville on his way to the Amana rally.

The photos are in an album here: http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/g6219-grand-old-dame-our-new-77-eleganza-ii.html

She is a Grand Old Dame, a 77 Eleganza II that previously belonged to JR and Mary Ann Wells of Nashville. She has a 403 that runs great. I've owned cars with less power for sure. Tranny shifts and downshifts perfectly. The Wells took great care of the coach and she is in fine shape:

The paint is not perfect (primarily the stripe) but is quite presentable.

Corian counter top. There is a two burner electric cookpad that stores under the counter until needed. No oven because the PO used the microwave and a toaster oven.

Leather seats, two digital TVs, some additional instruments. Everything works including the dash AC. Lots of upgrades, new aluminum radiator, air system compressor to bags, front suspension, brakes, and a bunch more. Haven't tried the central vac yet but everything else works.

New ZipDee 18' awning. Alcoas and tires are about 4 years old.

Davo and swivel chairs for the fold up table. Bamboo floor up front, vinyl in the kitchen, and carpet in the hall.

We're pretty excited about it. We wanted rear twins but they're scarce and we decided we'd just split up and I'd use the bottom Davo and the wife will take the bed in the back.

Now we need to think about a TOAD. I have a S10 automatic that I'd like to use but know I have to do something to it first. Time to do some research....
