I bought all new fixtures for Pheboe. (from princessauto for 5.99 each) they have one switch for each light and look very nice in the couch. however when installing I did the hallway last as I was afraid the closet door would hit it (it doesn't) so I pulled the plug out and cut the couch side of the plug off (BTW I have 4 OEM working and in good shape lights including the plug avail open to offers)
wired the light to the two wires and thought that's funny it didn't light. flipped both switches and nothing. grabbed test light. nothing.
grabbed meter roughly 13 volts (I am plugged into the house) hooked light back to wires no light
checked bedroom left rear lights nothing on right side. check galley. it is OK
check bathroom. nothing
fridge works.
check all fuses -with meter- all good. double check that there is contact on the wire leaving the 12 volt distribution panel. all good.
take fixture to spare 12 volt battery it lights. try test light it is dead.
rewire fixture to MH and it won"t light?
I have power at the wires?!
what am I missing?
it got cold (45f/7c) and dark.
there wouldn't be a connector hidden in the ceiling would there?

Once you replace everything that is attached to something else. It will all be fixed.
