It is my understanding that one of my fuel tanks is actually an auxiliary tank and I can switch to it by pressing the button on the dashboard. But I really don't know how it is supposed to work. I understand that fuel is dispensed equally from both tanks until they reach 1/4 full and then fuel is dispensed from the primary tank. What happens next? If i let the primary tank go to 1/8 full, can I push the button and see my guage register 1/4 again because that's what remains in the secondary tank? When running on the primary tank do I still have 1/4 in the secondary tank? Thanks for any enlightenment you can provide.
