Hey All;

In May, Diana and I were at a dune buggy run in Moab, UT. While
there, a fellow by the name of Britt Palmer and three of his college
buddies showed up in a bright red GMC. He and his crew were taking it
to LA to drop it off at a famous car builder to have him turn it into
a contender for the Class-A motorhome Land speed Record. JimK
mentioned that Applied GMC has been a sponsor for this build. I Britt
him a text last night wondering how the build was going and if they
were going to hit the salt this month. Here's his reply...

"Good to hear from you Gary. We arrive at the salt flats on 10/3 for
the world finals event. Motorhome is just about to be painted. 502 Ram
Jet, nitrous, fire suppression, full interior roll cage, Sparco race
seats, custom cut aluminum wheels, seamless windows, limited slip
front diff, front and rear stabilizer bars, quad air bag in rear,
airbags up front, custom front and rear diffuser/spoilers and body
totally shaved smooth from front to rear. We will probably run for an
official time on 10/4. I really do need to update my website. Hope to
see you there! Bring the turkey!!"

His webpage is palmerdesignsltd.com

I'm going to go. Anybody else want to see a 130mph (the goal) GMC motorhome??
